“To lead children, youth and families into knowing God, bringing Him joy and together making Him and His Kingdom known.”
End Physical Bible Poverty = Door to Door distribution. (Evangelism)
Our goal is to put a new Bible into the hands of every family in Montelibano. Our desire is that, every door that opens may have the opportunity to hear the Gospel, recieve prayer, recieve the gift of a new Bible, and be connected with a local church ready to disciple them.
End Spiritual Bible Poverty = House Bible Study. (Discipleship)
Starting in our home, we are hosting Bible studies to simply grow in our knowledge and love for the Bible and God. We want to walk with others as we do this. Our dream is to eventually train families to open up their doors as well and do Bible studies with their neighbors and friends. We want to know the God of the Bible and invite others to join us in this process.
We desire to create different spaces in our home in order “To Gather Together”. We want to put into practice and live out what it means to be the church. Through worship nights, Bible studies, celebrations and meals, etc., we want to bring people together and look to Jesus.
Within that, as our heart is to work with families, we currently are continuing to connect with families as we seek God´s guidance in how to best start family discipleship. We are working with our church (Centro Familiar Cristiano or Christian Family Center) here in Monte. with a project that includes a discipleship program for families/marriages/and parenting. As well as developing material that guides families with having intentional weekly family devotions (Where the kids are involved as well!)
We are preparing to have our first Family weekend camp this December (2021) which will be an annual camp. Our goal is to start doing marriage retreats as well among other workshops and camps focused on family.
We have seen God open some very interesting doors since moving to Montelibano.
First, my beautiful wife started a small business project called “Guerra Makeup” with her sister. This has been a very unique way of connecting with women in this town, some of which have started coming to our Bible study. It has been a great opportunity for them to make friends and use this platform as an opportunity to speak truth and affirm the identity of women as the world of beauty is full of many lies and insecurities.
Second, I have started getting involved again with sports. Sports has always been a passion of mine though I have not exercised that passion for almost 10 years. I am starting to play tennis and men´s softball. As of July, I am entering into this world but have already made some good friends. I am excited that my love for sports can be used for the intentional purpose of connecting with the men of Montelibano and building friendships.
Business and sports, without God, quickly become vain but with God easily have a purpose and the potential to be used by Him to extend His glory. We look forward to continue building new friendships and see how we can make God known in Montelibano.

“The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.” 1 John 1:2-3
