Sin = Dead. Lost. Blind. Broken.

Plan of Redemption - Message of Reconciliation

Once reconciled with God through the grace of Christ, we in turn are given the privilege to walk with God in His plan to redeem the dead, the lost, the blind, the broken. We have been entrusted with His message of reconciliation. (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). Now as faithful stewards, we desire to respond with loving obedience just as Christ did when He humbled Himself, for the love of His Father and for us. He lovingly obeyed even until death, and death on a cross. (Phil. 2:8)

“What sin has broken - God can redeem”

The reason WHY we serve, is not as a response to the consequence of sin and the negative that we see with our eyes but as a response to what Christ has done in our own lives. We have seen His redemption and restoration personally and know He can do that for all.

The Bride of Christ in Montelibano

We want to honor the Bride of Christ. It is easy to look at her flaws, many are extremely obvious and heartbreaking. They are despicable and perverse. Just as the sin that is in my heart. May God´s grace continue to cleanse my heart and cleanse His Bride. May He continue to teach us to renounce our ungodliness and in turn choose that which brings joy to His heart.

With that, the reality of the Bride of Christ here in our town is tough. More than 70 churches within this town of 80,000 people. Many have been born out of division. Many church leaders, with possibly good motivation, are so jealous and zealous for their church congregation, they have stepped into God´s role and lead the church with much control.

Many leaders struggle with sexual immorality. In 2020 alone, I heard of 3 pastors who fell into adultery. 2 continue pastoring without time of repentance and healing. 1 remains with the mistress as they start a new church.

For many, the Bible is unknown. It is easier to listen to the voice of God by seeking the counsel of the local pastor, prophet, or apostol. Many are lead astray as they do not recognize half lies and speculation and cannot identify bad doctrine. Bible poverty is great. The Gospel is a blurry concept for many. Legalism reigns freely and many are doing things for God as if to win His love and/or to recieve prosperity and blessing. The fear of losing salvation is constant.

God, work in me. Work in your church. We need You.

The Home. Family.

We believe that each nation and culture better reflect different aspects of God and His kingdom. Colombia highly values relationships and family. Sadly, in the midst of this, their family system is devistatingly broken.
The church seems to reflect better the culture´s version of family than God´s design for family. For many, their is no Godly example for a marriage and for parenting. There is no hope except repeat the mistakes of their parents.

Children grow up hearing the word discipline but feeling the pain of abuse. “Don´t spare the rod, the Bible teaches that!” The key ingredient to discipline, being love, as taught in the Bible is missing. Again, one gives what one has received.

There is little hope for change as it remains the same for generations. The only hope is that Jesus may enter the story of 1 person. Then through that 1 person, 1 family.

We pray for redemption and reconciliation. Jesus may heal the hearts of the parents and children. May reconcile marriages. My work through families who desire to serve Him together.

By His grace, in the midst of a corrupted culture, there are a remnant. We pray that those few may become many.

To Know God & To Make Him Known

“The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.”                                                                                            1 John 1:2-3
